First visit of day:
Cats and small animals in your home (up to 3 animals)
       * £12 for half an hour
       * £20 for one hour

Second visit same day:
       * £10 for half an hour
       * £18 for one hour

Additional animals in the home £2 extra per animal.

All visits are in a 5 mile radius at that price, over 5 miles is 50p per mile extra.

Daily Prices are:

Rabbits £7 each. Bonded pairs £9 sharing a cage

Guinea pigs £6 each. Bonded pairs £8 or 3 guinea pigs £10 sharing a cage

Birds £6 each or £2 per extra bird sharing a cage.

All of above are subject to availability of cages.

Daily Prices are:

Chinchillas £7 each. Bonded pairs £9 or 3 £11 sharing a cage

Degus £6 each. Bonded groups £2 per extra animal sharing a cage

Rats £6. Bonded groups £2 per extra animal sharing a cage.

Hamsters £5

Gerbils £5 each. Bonded groups £2 per extra animal sharing a cage.

Home Visits: Collection of keys if required £5 plus 50p/mile over 5 miles

 

Boarders: Dropping off times for your pet - between 2pm and 4pm

Collection times for your pet - between 10am and 12pm

Collection/ return and settling animal in if required £10 plus 50p/mile over 5 miles

Please note.....

All bookings require non refundable deposit of £12 plus balance must be paid in full at least one week before pet sitting commences unless the booking is last minute then payment in full is due at time of booking please.

For home visits and boarding on the following days, the price will be 1.5 times the above rates: Good Friday through to Easter Monday, May/August Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Cancellations must be done at least 3 days prior to beginning of pet sitting otherwise full payment is due except in exceptional circumstances.

Cat sitting and small pet sitting in your own home. Small pet boarding in my summer house or bungalow. See below for photos of the summer house, cages and their sizes.

 

Rabbits and guinea pigs can come without their cages as I have plenty of room however if you wish to bring their house then that's also fine. This will be placed outside in my secure garden. 

Birds again can either stay in one of my cages or bring your own. This will be inside my cabin.

Small pets ie Gerbils, hamsters, rats, chinchillas and degus etc , I encourage you to bring their cage with you as its nice for them to be in their own enclosure however I do have cages here if it's not possible.
 

I supply hay, sawdust/shavings and any bedding however I do not supply food as your pets digestive system is very sensitive and can be upset easily with a change of food. Therefore, please bring your pets normal food with them. 


For small animal boarding: If you find you do not have time to drop your pets off to me for boarding, I can collect them for a fee and settle them in.

Pricing and Information – Home Visits

An initial consultation/visit to discuss the requirements for your pet’s care is offered free of charge.

All food, litter and any other supplies are to be provided by the owner for the duration of pet-sitting.

 

Pricing and Information – Boarding

Drop off and collection times are as follows except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion and apply 7 days a week.

Food must be provided by you for your pet’s main diet for the duration of their stay but we can provide fresh vegetables to supplement this on request.

Cages in the Cosy Cabin Summerhouse are subject to availability and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please Note: You will be charged for the days you book, even if you decide to pick your pet up early (except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion).

If you are unable to collect your pet on the agreed day then you will be charged for any extra days at the rate above.

Bank Holidays

Deposits and Cancellations

To secure your booking, a £12 non-refundable deposit is required and must be paid at time of booking.

Payment in full is due 7 days before any services commence. Without full payment, no services will be provided.
If booking is within 7 days of start of services, payment must be made in full to secure the booking.

Payment is by bank transfer or cash only – the deposit will be taken off your final payment.

 

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days in advance of the start of services, otherwise payment in full will be retained (except in exceptional circumstances and at my discretion).

If a cancellation is made after full payment but with 3 days or more in advance of services, then the full payment less the deposit will be returned within 7-10 working days.

 

Health and Illness

Any long or short term existing medical conditions must be discussed with us before we care for your pet. If your pet requires medication during their sitting, this will be charged at £1 extra per day.

In the unlikely event that your pet is ill:

​

  • We will contact you or your emergency contact as soon as possible to discuss the situation

  • If deemed necessary we will take your pet to a vet

    • If your vet is within a 5-mile radius, we will use your vets

    • Otherwise, we will use the same vets that we use for our pets – Medivets in Wool

  • If we cannot get hold of you or your emergency contact and your pet needs urgent care then we will take them to the vet

  • Any vet fees must be payable by you upon collection of your pet

In the unlikely event that your pet passes away, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes.

 

Rabbit Boarders Specific Requirements:

Rabbits must be up-to-date with the following vaccinations:

  • Myxomatosis

  • RVHD1

  • RDHD2

We cannot accept unvaccinated rabbits. Proof of vaccinations must be sent beforehand via email.

 

Rabbit/Guinea Pig Recommendations:

We also strongly recommend that your rabbit/guinea pig has been:

  • Wormed

  • Treated for Flystrike – Flystrike is particularly painful and distressing for both you and your pet

Non-Collection of Pets

If you are unable to collect your pet on the agreed day – you MUST contact us to arrange an alternative, which may be chargeable at the previously stated rates.

Unless in exceptional circumstances that have been pre-agreed with us, uncollected pets will be places with an adoption agency after 7 days of non-collection.

 

Insurance and Risk

Whilst Precious Fur Babies have full pet sitting insurance, pet owners leave their pet with us at their own risk.

 

Your pets will be treated with the utmost care and love when we look after them so you have no need to worry.
